Driving on the turnpike going north think of going to visit Cathy to play Rommy Q.   She taught me how to play and we enjoyed a weekly visit to see each other to play.   How I miss those days!!!!❤️

My condolences.. Mrs Dooley was a kind beautiful soul. She used to visit me often at Lester's she always made my day brighter! You will be missed.

The New Florida Follies is proud to continue Cathy's legacy of performing in our senior years and raising funds for children in need!  This photo was taken when Cathy visited us at the studio.  We took time out from a rehearsal to celebrate Cathy's birthday.

         I am so sorry for the loss of your Aunt Kak. I have many wonderful memories of her from her dance studio in Astoria  and, of course, being in all the great recitals.  Kak was always a friendly and kind person. I am glad I got to spend time with her during my last two trips to Florida. I will miss her greatly. May she Rest in Peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a great woman. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t be there but I was in a car accident a few weeks ago, and I have been having a very hard time getting behind the wheel of a car since.   I would have loved to be there but it’s really impossible for me.   RIP Cathy!

I did the Follies for many years and Cathy and I became really good friends. I will always have her in my heart and remember the good times we had together.

Cathy Dooley was a complete and total loving friend to me and my Family for the last 20+ years.
Cathy showed my Wife Annie Houle Case how to Dance and Perform in the very early 2000's. Annie and Cathy had an incredibly loving and mutually dedicated relationship when Cathy asked Annie to run the business side of the Follies, which Annie did for about 3 years!
Annie and Cathy would get into some really loving and passionate arguments over being nice to the "Girls" because Cathy could be demanding. All worked out and fortunately Doug Gorab came along and did a great job running the Follies for many years, leaving Annie to Perform. Annie went to Heaven in August of 2007 and I continued my great Relationship with Cathy and the fine Follie performers! My wife Debi Davis Case and I have been blessed to continue the Loviong Relationship with Cathy since Debi first met Cathy in 2008.
Cathy Dooley will live in our Hearts forever, until we reconnect with Cathy and Annie who are dancing in Heaven!

I was so fortunate to have Cathy in my life for the past twenty years thanks to the Follies, which she so beautifully led. Such a special, gifted woman with a vision that she brought to fruition through her hard work, dedication and love. She was like a second mother to me and a dear friend who I will greatly miss.  Always in my heart ❤️

Miss Cathy touched so many lives over the years. She was true supporter of women! It is so lovely to see how many women's lives she has touched over the years. It is remarkable. She was so much more than a dance teacher.. a mentor, an example, a champion. She will be forever appreciated and missed.

I am very grateful to Cathy Dooley.    I auditioned as a tap dancer and Showgirl in The Original Florida Follies.   I was with them for 14 years and then I went into pageantry.  Cathy created a little family then.  Some of the ladies are still my friends.   I am very appreciative of that.
