Chet is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (nee Corsetti), of 63 years, his children, Carolyne Kasprzak (Mark Borzain), Loraine Kasprzak (Peter Yost), Steven (Krista) Kasprzak, and Charles Kasprzak (Dena Murphy). He leaves behind his two grandchildren, Mark Yost and Daniel Yost, as well as his two siblings Stan (Margie) Kasprzak, and Pat (Ron Sr.) Sadoski.
Chet was preceded in death by his parents, Czeslaw and Julia Kasprzak, and his siblings Robert (Jackie) Kasprzak, Barbara (Clyde) Drauglis, Joan (Joe) Hlubb, Constance (Stanley) Bednarczyk, and Thomas Kasprzak.
Born in Camden, New Jersey, Chet was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish where he attended the Church’s elementary and high school. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1959 at the rank of E-4 (Specialist). He pursued a career in retailing and managed several departments and stores in the New York/New Jersey area.
Chet was deeply committed to his family and faith. In 1962, when his family moved to Long Island, he and Mary joined St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish in Bay Shore, NY. He was an usher there for many years. Once in Florida, he became a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Parish in Boca Raton. There, he also served as an usher.
Chet enjoyed watching and attending baseball and football games. He had a variety of collections, including pictures and figurines of his favorite bird, the Cardinal. He loved listening to music, especially the American Classics like Frank Sinatra and Broadway show tunes.
While Chet will be greatly missed by all who loved him, his family is comforted to know he now rests in God’s divine grace. His life will be celebrated at a Mass on 28 April at St. Jude’s in Boca Raton. His ashes will be interred the same day at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
