Diane Mary Emery

Diane Mary Emery (nee Tunno) passed away peacefully Sunday, September 8, 2024. Born on April 7, 1961 to Louis and Elizabeth Tunno in Paterson, New Jersey, Diane grew up in New Jersey along with her adored siblings, Elizabeth Tunno, Gina (Jeffrey) Kruger and Louis (Tracy) Tunno.

Though she spent her formative years in New Jersey, Diane made her way to Florida where she spent her career as a neonatal nurse and started her own family. Diane met and married the love of her life (Greg), and went on to have two extraordinary children, Kaitlyn and Kyle (Chelsea) whom she adored. Family meant the world to Diane, and even if you were not related to her, she made you feel as if you were part of her family from the day she met you. Diane’s warmth, kindness and generous heart were always readily shared with everyone she came into contact with. Despite the many trials she faced in dealing with her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, Diane maintained a gracious and loving demeanor.

Diane is survived by her husband Greg Emery, daughter Kaitlyn, son Kyle (Chelsea), sisters Elizabeth Tunno, Gina (Jeffrey) Kruger, her brother Louis (Tracy), nieces and nephews Nicole (Chris) Danner, Lauren Halberg (Shelby), Alyssa Kruger, Nicholas Tunno, Ashley Woods, Catherine Zelios, Anastasia (Dat) Tang, Jacob Emery, Ian Wiley and Daniel Emery. She was preceded in death by her Father, Louis and Mother, Elizabeth.

Diane lived her life the best she knew and left this earth a better place for having had her in it. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. Just remember, she is looking down at all of us, making sure we behave.

Visitation and service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL 33428 to celebrate Diane’s life.
