Dear Mr. Olsomer

I have lived in your neighborhood for a while but our conversations never went beyond a hi / how are you unfortunately. I blame it on my own shyness, but this is neither the place nor time. I learned about your name and passing while doing a property research. I remember at times when I walked by your corner you'd be in your pool doing back strokes and I distinctly remember seeing your smiling face at more than one occasion when you were in your pool. It is too late for me to become your friend but all I can do is ask God for an eternal peaceful rest for you, and also ask God to bestow the patience to your loved ones to endure your absence. 

Dear Eddie. It's so hard to believe you are gone. We shared a lot of fond memories that I will never forget.  You will be missed.  Like Bono sang, as only we know. 

It's been a year now but not a day goes by that you are not in my thoughts.  Melissa, Eli and I talk about you all the time and we laugh at the things you used to do and say.
You made an impact on my life for which I will be forever grateful.
No one will ever fill your shoes.

Barbara, I know, please call me..Laureen 201-939-1298, I lost my husband 8 months ago..

My thoughts and prayers are with Barbara and the boys.  I have fond memories of watching our sons' baseball games together.  We had a lot of fun! He was a good guy and will be missed.

Many thoughts and prayers to Eddie's wife and family. Eddie was a very kind and well remembered during my time at Memorial School, South Hackensack.  I feel terribly shocked and saddened for this sudden news. Eddie, may you rest in peace, and somehow know that you were so well liked by others. It was so nice knowing you.

I was very saddened to learn of Ed's sudden passing.  He and I had the distinction of going through Memorial School, St Cecilia High School, and Montclair State College together.   My condolences to his wife Barbara, his children, his mother, sister Pat, and brother Tom and their families.

Ed and I went to elementary school together. He was a great guy.He was your role model youngster. Excellent student, great at sports but most important  a very nice person with a super personality. My prayers to his family and I will always remember the happy times with Ed.

My condolences to the Olsomer family.  It has been many, many years since I have seen Eddie, but I do remember him from my days at Memorial School as a kind older brother with a smile! May peace be with you always and may the Angels comfort Eddie in paradise!

Ed was a very kind person who was always willing to give his time and knowledge to help find solutions at work.  He always gave me a kind word and support when he sensed I needed it, i am forever greatful. May his soul rest in peace! we will miss him. May God comfort all his family and friends at this time of great loss.

Ed,  you were one of few that would come in and talk to Travis and I about life and i appreciated that.  Some people don't meet too many genuine real people and you were one.  Im glad i met you. My condolences go out to the family and friends

It's heart-wrenching to think that my brother-in-law, Ed, has passed away...there are so a many good memories,the fun and laughter during our "Club O" weekends, and hung-over days on the beach at Belmar. 
You were the love of Barbara's life.
I always gave you credit for being such a great Dad to Eddie and Mark. They are your Legacy, and my heart breaks for them.
Barbara, Eddie and Mark, you all have a personal Guardian Angel watching over you forever, the same for your mom, Nellie.

Barbara, I was so shocked when Carol told me.  I had been trying to get Ed to the last 2 Saints reunions we had, and now I wish I had tried harder.  He was a good friend in HS, and fellow gladiator on the football field; and wish we kept better in touch afterward.  My deepest condolences.

Ed, I am sadden to hear of your passing and I will always cherish the kind hearted person you were and even though you always gave me a hard time,  you did it with love. A heart of gold, yes that was Ed Olsomer and will always be that kind hearted and loving person that would go to extra lengths to make sure everyone else was taken care of before himself. .I am happy you came into my life, even though for a short while, you were a awesome person/ Boss and you were always like a dad to me.  I will always remember the wonderful times we had at Bomar and you were certainly a wonderful person.  My deepest sympathies to Barbara and Eddie and Mark,   Ed will be missed greatly.......  and I have to say Ed always shared about how he loved his family and how Eddie and Mark were the light of his life and how Barbara was his rock. I speak for many that knew and worked with Ed when I say he is sorely missed, and will be for many years to come.

I only knew Ed for a short time after he started at Vutec, but I discovered a man with whom I shared much in common insofar as a very deep work ethic, a passion for delivering more than is expected, and a bottomless pool of impatient contempt for the unethical or lazy. In short, a perfectionist who did not suffer fools or thieves lightly. Ed was also a man fiercely committed to his family whom he loved more than anything. He was a man who measured himself to far higher standards with all the personal costs that such implies. 

Ed, I hope you have found peace Brother and that you may rest well in your eternal reward.

Ed, the BEST BOSS EVER! Though I only knew you 7 or so months; from my interview to you hiring me I thank g-d for giving me the pleasure of getting to know you. You, your sensitivity, humor and straight up honestly will NEVER be forgotten. I will miss you more than you know! I will keep you and your family in my prayers. RIP Ed, Always, Melissa.
