

Frank R. Martino, of Boca Raton, celebrated life for over 90 years and passed away on Tuesday, April 27. Frank was born November 25, 1919. He lived in Brooklyn NY, where he met his beloved “angel” Mella. Together they resided in Woodmere, NY, where they raised their three children. Frank and Mella moved to Florida, residing first in Margate prior to establishing permanent residence in Boca Raton. Frank owned and operated Mapleton Printing and Offset in Brooklyn, NY. The company is thriving under the guidance of his son, Joseph. Frank was Founder and President of the Three B’s Athletic League, dedicated to “Building Better Boys”. Frank was a member of Boca Greens Country Club for 25 years, where he loved golf and the social amenities. He enjoyed swimming in his pool and painting on canvas. Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Mella, enjoying 66 years of marital bliss, and by his three children, Leon (Nancy), Joseph (Cathy) and Terry (Jerry) Settanni. He was adored by his six grandchildren, MaryEllen (Tom), Joseph (Kim), Christine, Nicky, Jerry Jr. and Melanie. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday, April 30 at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home (West Chapel). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 1st at St. John Catholic Church in Boca Raton. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
