George Walter Sandrini age 84 of Boca Raton died peacefully on April 28, 2021 while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 1, 1936 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Juan and Margarita Sandrini and was married to his beloved late wife, Rosario "Charo" Sandrini for 60 years. They had 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
George spent the first 31 years of his life in Buenos Aires and as a young man earned an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering. Shortly after graduating, he accepted a position with IBM and later was offered a position in the United States. He migrated with his wife and their two young daughters Sabina and Daniela to New York in 1967. Shortly after their arrival they welcomed their first boy, Jorge. Six years later their second son Marcelo was born.
Over the years George established a stellar career as a successful businessman in the field of telecommunications, making many trips to Latin America and Europe. He relocated with his family to Florida and officially retired in recent years, enjoying time off to be with his family and focusing on his various hobbies and activities that he loved including tennis, cycling and soccer. When his wife Charo became ill, he became devoted to taking care of her until her final days.
He is loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him and were touched by his kindness, sense of humor and his incredible devotion to family including his sons and daughters, sister Marta, sons-in-law Jose and Andre, daughter-in-law Candace, grandchildren Alex, Cassie, Alyssa, Alainna, Victoria, Lucia and Henry, great grandchildren Xavier and Enzo and his many friends and colleagues.
