Hazel C Walker

Hazel was born on March 4th 1939 in Cold Spring, Putnam County, New York, to Raymond Edgar Christian and Beatrice Elizabeth Hustis. Hazel, who also went by Cynthia, graduated from Haldane High School in 1957. On March 8th 1958 she married the love of her life, Robert Martin Walker. Together they shared 59 years of marriage before Bob’s passing in 2016.

Hazel was lovable, huggable, and a sweet person with a devilish side. She would always find the humor in everything, especially if it was to stop you from crying. Some of her hobbies were counted cross-stitch, quilting, reading, and doing jigsaw puzzles – particularly with her bestie Carol. Most of all, she loved simply laughing and sharing moments with those she cared about.

Hazel and Bob were blessed with four children. Their son, Timmy, preceded them in death in 2003. Hazel is survived by three children: Cindy Walker of Boca Raton; Ellen Walker-Gibbs (Joey) of Beacon, New York; and Mike Walker of Boca Raton. She also has a brother and sister in law, Raymond and Betty Christian of Utah, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, located at 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton
