This is very difficult for me to put into words how much I love grandma. She was a loving person who lit up the room with her smile, sense of humor and tenderness among many things. You are my heart, grandma, and I'm gonna miss you tremendously until we meet again.

Ivelina lived her last years with my neighbor Yolanda, her daughter.
I saw her only twice, but remember her sweet smile.
Yolanda always talked about her Mami.
She lived a long life, together with family, which is not a given nowadays anymore. I remember when Yolanda told me that her Mami will live with her and her smile was as sweet as her mom's.



Today we say good bye to a true Angel, Ivelina Cruz my Grandma. I must say her final good bye was Perfect, she looked amazing, peaceful most of all at peace! A great huge shout out to Babione Funeral Home in Boca Raton. Most funeral homes don’t pay attention to the smallest details, but this place went above and behind. Tv screens playing a collage of memories, mints, food, drinks, table settings. They brought life, hope, happiness and peace to an emotional exhausting situation. This was the first time I stepped into a funeral home and felt life. I thank each and everyone there from the bottom of my heart for taking great care of our Angel and giving her the most beautiful elegant farewell that she so highly deserved! 

Grandma I love you, til I see you again keep everyone in line up there

My condolences to all Of you during this time of grief. I know it's been many years since I last seen your mom, but I can still remember our time together as though it were yesterday. To know your mom was a blessing. I could always count on a great time whenever we were all together, hell I can almost still hear her laughter. Although she is no longer here on this earth to drive everyone crazy, she still lives through each of our memories. She was a remarkable woman with such a great spirit, I'm sorry to hear she has been called home. She lived a very fruitful life. I'm sure she lived it up to her standards. My heart is with you all during this time. May she now rest easy. 

My husband & I met this special woman later in her life.  She would have the biggest smile when she saw us, especially my husband. He would speak to her in his version of “Spanish “.  She would just laughed & smile.  That’s what I’ll remember most. She had a beautiful Grace & strength.

Some of the best memories of Ivelina Were the family get togethers that we had at her house.  She was a great cook and we had lots of good times there .
I know that she is resting in peace with her two sons and two daughters and husband Carlos. 
Rest in peace dear lady. 

I know grandma Evelyn since I am 11 Years old. My fond memories of her are just so amazing . She was respected so much and always gave with her heart. She tried her best to take care of her family and succeeded even when she had to do it on her own. She always welcomed me in to her home In flatbush with open arms and  always shared her amazing arros con pollos that was in a pot that was so big it covered almost the whole stove ,  I can taste it till this day.  She taught me how to make Spanish coffee from a what looked like a sock and told me you always have to boil the milk. We loved to talk .. Anytime i spoke with her she always told me she loved me so much and that meant so much to me . Not a day goes by that I don’t think about her . She is truly going to be missed. 
This is such a tremendous loss for the family and my entire heart goes out to everyone . She is certainly in heaven surrounded by all the angels . RIP my Angel, Until we meet again.. I will always love you to the moon and back , 
You certainly hold a very special place in my heart ..
