Dr Polito, Can't believe it has been 3 years. I never got to say good bye when you retired because I was never informed by the place you were working. I met you and Faye when I was a young nurse at north broward. My husband and I thought you were the best. There will never be such a caring physician as yourself I miss you everyday.

Just saw this today. I know it's a bit late for condolences. However, Dr. Polito was my mother's physician and he had expertise but also an impeccable bedside manner that alway made her feel better leaving the office.

Two years ago today, our beloved family physician, Dr. James Polito, died much too soon after entering into a well-deserved retirement. His family, of course, was saddened by his passing and continue to bathe in his memory.  The patient/doctor relationship, however, is a loving personal one and there's not an ache or pain in our family that fails to produce a smile of what he would do or say to carry us through. My sincere condolences, Dr.  Polito was a outstanding doctor and friend. He always had a smile on his face and made me laugh. He was my doctor for 20 plus years. I will miss him.

It is over a year since we lost Dr. Polito. We still miss him. Just being with him in his office for a visit made your aches and pains disappear. He had a caring, compassionate, and  comforting manner that made everyone feel better. 

Dr. Polito was a great doctor and a gentleman. I always looked forward to seeing him, he had such a warm and welcoming personality, as well as a smile on his face. His personality will sorely be missed, as will his medical expertise. God bless his soul.

Doc.. you were always there for me and my parents.. We uses to kid around about you B12 shots to the ass every visit but you know e en today I tave b12 because of you.... you gave me good advice when my.mom got diagnosed w cancer and cared for my dad when ever he got sick when doing the snowbird thing..... I will miss you greatly that last chat we had at the other facility ..I could tell you missed your office and you nurses... You e en played w the idea of some kind of part time doctors w some other older docs but I guess God had his own plan for a wonderful man like you... Rest easy Doc you did great and ur patience are better for having experienced real doctoring :)

Yesterday I was saddened to receive Dr. Polito's Obituary from my  cousin who lives in Fort Lauderdale. I met Jimmy at Metropolitan Hospital in NYC around 1971, when he was working in the Emergency Room and I was a Resident in Ob-Gyn. He was an excellent Physician, a gentleman and a friend.  In 1972 I moved to Italy and unfortunately lost track of him. I understand he survived a bad car accident, after which he developed a drive to enjoy life, so I am sure he had a full and fullfilling life, both professionally and privately. I regret not having had the opportunity to see him again and I express my sincere condolescence to his wife, children and family.

For those who were fortunate enough to have Dr. Polito as their doctor- this was the saddest news.  
We were unaware that he had passed on. Tried recently to call the office for medical records but no answer. Anyone know where the records went? 
My family truly loved Dr. Polito. We will never know a more compassionate doctor. 

We received the sad news on Easter Sunday that “Doc Polito” had passed away. I was his patient for almost 40 years and my husband almost as long.  Doc was always very conscientious and caring, patient and kind. As a practitioner he combined skill and knowledge with common sense. Mrs. Polito,  I met you there many years ago and you are the nicest lady.  We send our sincere condolences to you and the family. We were already missing him from his practice and were hoping that he would enjoy more time with you in a peaceful retirement, but God had other plans. God bless Dr. and Mrs. Polito.

Dr Polito has been my doctor since I moved to Florida in 1986.  He was a wonderful man and doctor. He also started seeing my husband after we got together 20 + years ago. He would only see Dr Polito.  I am very saddened by the loss for his family and for all of us my thoughts and prayers go to his family.

I am so very saddened and heartbroken to hear of Dr. Polito’s passing.

I had the honor, privilege, and blessing to have been a patient of Dr. Polito’s for 40 years.  I would often say to him, “Doc, don’t ever retire, you are irreplaceable.”  Of course, we would laugh each time I said it… but how true this was!  Dr. Polito was remarkably compassionate, dedicated, and empathetic… he truly cared about each and every patient.  Dr. Polito not only heard you when you spoke, but he “listened.”

Dr. Polito was exceptionally brilliant, competent, and skilled.  He was extraordinarily kind, respectful, trusting, and honest… incredibly warm, sweet, and caring.  The medical profession and all humanity lost an amazing human being.

To Faye and Dr. Polito’s family: I extend my sincerest, heartfelt condolences and sympathies.  May GOD guide you through this very difficult time. 

To Dr. Polito:  You touched so many many lives, saved many I have no doubt, and made life better for ALL who visited your medical office.  May you be at peaceful rest. My deepest condolences to Dr. Polito's family.  I was a patient of Dr. Polito for too many years to count while he was in private practice up until he retired in late 2021 from HCMG.  I always enjoyed seeing him for my appointments, whether for a routine physical or illness, he always put a smile on your face and made you feel better.  Such a positive, caring man, talented doctor, uplifting spirit and with so much enthusiasm for life.  We had a "like" for Las Vegas in common and more recently (shortly after his retirement) I ran into him and his lovely wife at the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino where in typical fashion he told me "you have my cell #, keep in touch".   I figured I'd run into them once in a while at Seminole and could hear how he was doing in retirement.  I will miss him.  My heart goes out to his family.  

I just found out today of the passing of Dr. Polito! I am so sad! I have been a patient of Dr. Polito for over 20yr and have to say he was one of the most caring individuals!!! He was respected by all that knew him. May his memory be a blessing! RIP dear man! 





My heart is broken. Dr. James Polito was one of the most positive, caring, and empathic individuals that I was lucky enough to have known. I attitude both him and Faye in saving my life a few times. Through pregnancy, cancer & other medical & spiritual issues. Both Faye and James were always there to help guide me. He has touched & affected so many lives through his years on earth. More than you can imagine. I know Harry will be there to greet him & they both have a lot to talk about. "There are those who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone the light remains."May your memories be a blessing. My thoughts are with you Faye. 

An Uncle A Friend what is there to say about someone who loved life as much as my dear Uncle Junior. There are so many great memories that we shared some of which can not be told but one thing can be said he loved a party and knew how to enjoy his life and loved his work of which there  was no doubt. He will be missed by all of his family, friends and patients  but i am quite sure he is wearing a crown in Heaven drinking some scotch and playing cards with his brothers and nephew. I can’t remember I started with Dr. Politto 20 some years ago he was such a remarkable person and very caring and kind and understanding. He took care of me up until the time that I started having kidney problems and he referred me to Dr Valle which was the best doctor he could’ve referred me to. I continue to go to Dr Politto for general health issues and follow ups. Was so sad to hear that he had retired and now to find out that he passed away he will truly be missed he was a wonderful and caring Dr.

Dr. Polito was the most amazing doctor I ever had. He was such a sweet man who actually cared about the people around him. Hearing of his passing is truly breaks my heart. I am so grateful and thankful to have met him. 

Dr. Polito loved his job and his patients. My family went to him for decades, and I known he will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family. 

We hope Dr Polito’s wife and family read this. Just heard of his passing Feb 9th. We’re terribly saddened to learn this and want you all to know what a special doctor and loving caregiver he was to both of us and undoubtedly all under his care. We considered him our friend. What can I say about the Best Doctor in Broward County. He was so kind and caring. We are definitely going to miss you, Dr Polito. My grown children loved and respected you also. We were just talking about you before you passed, saying we will never find a more dedicated and caring physician. Rest In Peace. 

I always say “Only the good die young”. Gone too soon cousin of mine. So sorry we never made it to our cruise together. So wanted to hit the casino with you.  Go plays craps with them all up there.  You are truly going to be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing you!
