James Edward Roubian, 65, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at a local hospital in Boca Raton, Florida. He succumbed to complications stemming from his fight against adrenal cortical carcinoma. James was born October 27, 1953 to Ethel and James Roubian in Boston, Massachusetts, the youngest of two. He completed his undergraduate studies at Lowell Technological Institute in 1975 and later earned a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University in 1978.
He later met his beautiful bride and wife of 31 years, Lisa Marie Rose. In 1987, he became a father to his beloved daughter, Tabitha.
In 1981, Jim began his lifetime career in the aerospace industry, serving as a president of HEICO corporation for the past 38 years. He loved his job and was well-respected by the people who worked for him and with him. Apart from managing his company, Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved the beach, live music, travel, laughter and enjoyed a good meal whenever he had the time. He also spent most of his years volunteering at the local Presbyterian Church.
James is survived by his wife, Lisa Roubian; daughters, Tabitha Roubian Bilbao and Heather Marie Landon; niece, Jamie Gorman; grandchildren, Dakota, Aurora and Liam; sister, Janis Ciofalo; biological mother Jean Arcos; half siblings Wayne and Craig Arcos; and numerous love ones that he considered family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Glades Presbyterian Church at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jim Mcnaull officiating.
