Big John, man do I miss you brother, We sure had allot of fun together didn't we? Worked very hard and played even harder, drank allot of beer together and played allot of golf. Those were the good old days. You were my best friend and I'll always cherish those times we had. I think of you quite often and keep my tears at bay and pray that someday we will see each other again. Your friendship will be remembered for the rest of my life. I miss you everyday and still look for you to say ready for a cold one? I have a thousand stories to talk about the good times and we had plenty. Your Friend Rusty

My uncle was an amazing man. He had a light inside of him that would brighten any room. He was always joking around. He used to pull me aside and whisper that I was his favorite. And I knew that he would tell my brother and my sister the same thing because we would brag to one another and then realize we were all being told we were his favorite but it didn't matter because for a moment we felt special and we really believed him. In life nothing is certain, and things are forgotten easily. You may forget the things that people say to you, you may forget the things that people do to you, but you don't forget the way someone made you feel. That is something you hold onto in your heart. That is where Johnny is now. He is in my heart. He is in the heart of everyone that he made feel special. Of every person that knew him and loved him. Love you Uncle Johnny. I will miss you forever.

John, you will be missed.  You left a wonderful legacy of love, caring, support, and wisdom.  I learned a lot from you, how to be a better father, brother, son, and husband.  With Love, Lakey.
