Born with a kind spirit and a generous heart, John lived his life with compassion, laughter, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He had a very successful career with BellSouth and AT&T. John passed away peacefully, surrounded by the people who meant the most to him—his mother Jo Ann Tulock, sister Melissa Covell, brother-in-law Darrell Covell, niece Caleigh Covell, nephew Robby Covell, partner John Horey, and lifelong friends Chris Drumm and Tammy Atha.
John was a man of quiet strength and deep character, someone whose presence made the world feel a little more steady. He found joy in life’s simple moments, valued genuine connection, and gave his love freely and without condition. His warmth and humor will be remembered by all who knew him.
John now joins his father, Charles Tulock, in heaven—a reunion of two souls who shared a deep bond.
He leaves behind a family who adored him and countless friends who were blessed by his friendship. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in the stories we share, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.
A private memorial service will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you celebrate John’s life by performing an act of kindness in his memory.
Rest well, John. You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.
