When I think of Aunt Julie I remember her spunk and it makes me smile.  She always spoke her mind and her candidness was funny!  But it's nearly impossible to just think of Aunt Julie alone because she and Uncle John were a pair.  And when I think of the two of them together, I remember the love that they shared!  Even when Uncle John would tease her and call her "duck lips", she would roll her eyes at him but, it was all done in good fun and you could feel the love between them.  That's my favorite memory of Aunt Julie and Uncle John.

In my younger years when Julie was dating my brother John,we had many good times and laughs.They continued through the years although not as often.In many ways she was more like a big sister than a sister-in-law.Julie is with Johnny now(they were truly sole mates)and at peace .She is loved and will be dearly missed. Heartbroken and upset, she was a lovely person.  We loved each other very much.  My prayers are with James.  Love, Laura 

I am so saddened by this news, Julie was the last of her generation, so the world feels a lot smaller now. My Aunt Julie was an amazing person, with an overflow of love she shared with her closest friends and family. Loyal Mother, Wife and Sister to her 3 siblings, I was very fortunate to have her come to California with James some 12 years ago to walk me down the isle at my wedding. Her friendship and loyalty to her siblings was unwavering, as was her love for son James and niece kathy and myself. I recall many great meals and story telling. I know she is proud of the goodness she gave and her spirit is now at rest. James, please feel the security and love that you always have family.   I can Imagine the three sisters debating the 'Gravy' recipe as to how much sugar or wine to add...Julie will get her way or she won't eat, ha ha. She was a woman who stuck to her principles. 
I shall always keep my Aunt Julie close in my heart. I have peace knowing you'll be resting with John, and occupying the same property as my Mother. I can here the closing sentence to our conversations " You take care of yourself, now Mike, you hear" I will. Forever your loving Newphew, Michael. Also sending regards from Tricia and Stuart Chesler.
