Marie Jose Beauboeuf

Marie Jose (Alexis) Beauboeuf was born on September 26, 1945 in Port Au Prince Haiti to Anne Marie (Polliard) Alexis and Max Alexis. After completing her education in Port Au Prince she came to the United States where he married Benoit Leonard Serge Beauboeuf March 4th 1972. They spent 54 years of marriage together.

Marie Jo as she was affectionately known, loved life. She showed it in everything she did. She worked tirelessly as a respiratory therapist for over 40 years. She took pride in caring for her family and the people around her. She loved her garden, cooking, music, dancing and sewing. She always made sure no one left empty handed. Whether it was some fruit from her yard or food she cooked with her own hands. She always made sure you left her house with a smile.

Marie Jose was a church going woman. She was a devout Catholic. She made sure to share her values and beliefs with her children and grandchildren. If you were at her house on Sunday you were getting up to go to church.

Marie Jose passed away on April 2nd 2026 in Lake Worth Florida at 80 years old. She is survived by her spouse , her two daughters Laura Beauboeuf and Sarah (Beauboeuf) Moses, her sisters Marie Lourdes (Alexis) Thomas, Gina (Alexis) Salzman, and Ketty Alexis, her grandchildren Alexia Jenkins, Brooklynne Tate, Gracen Tate, Stevie Tate, Allegra Tate, Josiah Moses, Zyon Moses and her great grandchild London Jenkins.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, the love she gave so freely, and the strength she instilled in all who knew her. Though Marie Jose is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains present in every lesson she taught, every memory we cherish, and every act of love we carry forward in her name.
