Michael Raymond Zack

Michael Raymond Zack, 66 of Boca Raton FL, traveled to heaven on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Michael was preceded in death by his father Michael J. Zack. Surviving Michael are his mother Alyce P. Zack of Johns Creek, GA, and his daughters Jenna Zack and Madeleine Zack both of New York, NY whom he loved dearly; they meant the world to him. Also surviving is his sister Deborah Z Giggi, and her husband Paul M Giggi of Johns Creek GA. Michael was born in Elizabeth, NJ on November 27, 1951 son of Michael J. Zack and Alyce Primmer Zack. Michael graduated from St. Benedict's Preparatory School, Newark, NJ and St. Bernard College, Cullman, AL where he earned a BS in Business Management. He was the NAIA Individual Golf Champion. Michael later became a PGA Golf Touring Pro. He also served as the Assistant Golf Pro at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ and Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, NJ. Since the inception of the PGA Assistant Championship in 1977, Michael Zack, formerly of Baltusrol, is the only New Jersey Section player to have won the National Assistant event. Michael won the Datsun Classic twice and other multiple tournaments during his career. Michael had a successful career in finance, golf club ownership and golf club management. Michael was also a car enthusiast and an Animal Rights Activist. Celebration of Life Services will be announced at a later date.
