Michele (Michael) Tortorella, 94 of Delray Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016. He was born in Potenza, Italy on January 14, 1922. He immigrated to the United States in 1950. He lived on 71 Jayne Avenue, Patchogue for 53 years with his family and worked at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center as a maintenance engineer for 38 years. He is survived by his loving wife Vincenza Tortorella, a daughter Carmela Snow, her husband Bill, a daughter Lena McBride and a son Dr. Michael Tortorella. His grandchildren are William and Lisa Snow Wanamaker, Melissa Michael, Christopher, Gregory, and Steven Tortorella. His great grandchildren are Maiah and Myles Wanamaker and Olivia and Madison Snow.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 6:00 on Sunday February 14th at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton FL 33432, with a Wake Service at 5:00 pm. There will be a second visitation on Monday February 15th from 10 am to 11 am at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, with a graveside side at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens North, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach FL 33064.
