Remembering you, dad, on this day - may you continue to Rest in Eternal Peace

We remember Pete describing how he used to fly his little plane over our houses in Boca. Those were surely the “good old days!”
We also remember how much he loved the kids in the neighborhood and how often they interacted.
We miss Pete!!!

Hi Janet,
Jim and I are remembering fun times with you and Pete. We  had
fun at the Mexican restaurant several times. We shared lovely dinners at both of our houses. We loved every time.
I've know you for so many years. Pete was always such a help to me as a single lady........in the yard, around the house, with the computer, and many other times.
Janet, you were the best of wives......so devoted and loving and we hope you never forget that. We will all miss Pete, and you will miss him the most. We know that.
We will be around for you always. May Pete rest in peace and know that he was greatly loved by family and friends.

Peter was a wonderful neighbor, friend and fill in father for my children while their father was off to war 1 1/2 years. A neighbor on Share Dr. Morrisville, PA is where the memories were made and cherished.
Peter worked a full time job and was going to school nights. Weekends he always included me and my children for a visit to the park, out for ice cream, or entertainment at his home. 
He loved Halloween and left me with too many memories to share.
One, remember I am living alone husband off to war, and this guy dressed  as a convict with a ball and chain hooked to his ankle, coming up on my porch!  He would pound on my front door and I would not answer.  Then I would hear him pounding on my back glass sliding door, then to the front door.  I finally, opened big door with storm door locked and said is that you Pete, No answer,  I said take your mask off and he did, there was another scary mask underneath.  It went on  for a while.  Had so much fun.
He would tell us jokes, impersonate people and have us laughing  most of time at his house.  MEMORIES I WILL NEVER FORGET.  
I bet he will entertain in Heaven too.   Love You Retha

May the Angels take Peter into Paradise, where he will really enjoy the long-awaited and loving presence of his Lord and Creator. May his Redeemer send comfort, peace and consolation to Janet, Peter, Michael and the entire family. It's been my great privilege to know him on earth; may I get to join him again one day in heaven.

I remember an April evening in 1976 when the McCandless family was sitting down to dinner. We heard a knock on our Share Drive front door.  I answered the knock and found a white-faced Peter staring at me in total disbelief!  He said, "Joe, i just crashed into your new car".  I had parked the car in front of our house instead of what i normally did,  park it in our driveway.  Someone was in the driveway when i got home so i parked in front of the house.  Peter backed out of his driveway and ploughed into my two day old Honda Civic!
Naturally he was mortified.  I told him to relax, take a deep breath, and all would be well.  The car can be fixed
...dont worry about it.  The color returned to my neighbor's face and he was okay.
Of course i forgot to tell him i was going to sue him for his Pontiac.....it was much nicer than my Civic 😊 
Great memories of our friends on Share Drive.  God bless you Petrr...rest in Christ's peace.
