Miss you Ron. Always remember our Raquetball days and the fun times we had.

We have so many wonderful memories with you - so many meals, outings, and holidays spent together. Also, a special memory is when you were in New York in the fall, and you got to experience all the fall decorations in our neighborhood. Halloween time!
When we decided to move full-time to Florida, your friendship and advice was invaluable when we were building our home. Ronny gave us all the information we needed to be sure we included the important things in a Florida home.
Most importantly, we have always felt like family with you, always being included for holidays and important family events. They say there is a family you’re born with and a family you make. We are so grateful you are our family here.

Ronny will be missed immensely. I am glad I got to be raised alongside the Levine family on our memorable family vacations!

Ron Levine was technically my ‘father-in-law’, but I will always consider him my adopted ‘dad’. He meant more to me than I will ever be able to  even comprehend. He was so incredibly generous with every single aspect of our relationship. And his deep love for my wife Veronika, and our daughter Ana, provided a never ending well of support in all aspects of our lives. I am deeply and forever grateful for the loving relationship he fostered with Ana, their bond will live in my heart forever. 

I will cherish all of our moments, and I will bring him in my heart for the rest of my life. Rat in peace my dear friend.

Ronnie was like a second father to me growing up in South Florida. I met Csopi at a mutual friend's sleepover in the 5th grade and once we hit middle school we were inseparable. While my home life was chaotic and extremely dysfunctional, the Levine household was a welcome reprieve and a second home to me. The family included me on trips to theme parks in Orlando and I spent many weekends with them.
Ronnie was funny and kind. He loved playing tricks on us, and he had great taste in 80's movies. He made me feel safe, welcomed, and loved. 
Ronnie, I will never forget your kindness towards me and eventually my daughter after she was born. Thank you for the laughs, the love, and for all of your great advice. You will be missed. Love you much.

Uncle Ronnie,  thank you for sharing your life with me.   I have wonderful memories of us playing dragon, going to the parks in NYC,  your amazing Halloween train.  Your calm voice and big heart will be missed.    I know we live far apart but my memories of you visited me every day.

Dear Anitta and Family,

I was heartbroken to hear about Uncle Ronnie. It happened so fast, and none of us were prepared. He wasn’t just a family friend, he was family. Uncle Ronnie was the kind of person who made you feel welcome the second you walked through the door…or in our case, pulled into the parking lot after driving all the way from Brooklyn.

Every summer, our family of six would load up the car and head to Florida, and you both always opened your doors and your hearts to us. I’ll never forget how generous you were, letting us stay in one of the apartments for a week or more at a time, and making us feel like we belonged. It wasn’t just hospitality, it was love.

Uncle Ronnie may not have been the one in the kitchen (we all know that was you and my mom, the real culinary dream team), but he was always there, cracking jokes, lighting up the room, and making sure everyone had what they needed, even if it was just a good laugh.

I still remember how much it meant to us that you both came all the way to Hawaii for our wedding. That kind of effort and love stays with you forever. And in recent years, writing and receiving postcards with you both became its own little tradition. I’ll keep sending them. He might not be at the mailbox anymore, but he’ll always be part of the adventure.

Uncle Ronnie was truly one of a kind. He was kind, funny, and full of heart. The world feels a little dimmer without him, but I’m so grateful for all the memories we share.

“Service above self” is one of the first things you learn in the military. Mr. Levine, being a veteran, espoused this philosophy. He cared deeply for his family, was a present father &  grandfather, and generous with his time, resources, and talents. He was always good for an interesting tale or even a different view on how one would look at something. As a man, your goal is to provide for your family. He always made sure he fulfilled this role. A good man and a life well-lived.

I miss you papa! Thank you for all that you did with me.
You’re an incredible grandpa. I’ll remember everything forever.

You teaching me that I can make egg creams and cheesy eggs
Telling me stories about your family and self when you were young
Hearing about the army
Swimming in the pool with you
Being and looking at the Canal
Watching how the dog Benji always sat and slept on your lap
Listening to Easy Listening with you
How you loved the Big Bang Theory Show
Teaching me about cars
Playing 500 rummy with you (but of course you beat me every time at the beginning :D )
You giving everyone names with me like Tündi, Schnitzel Pip, and Tiny Gizzy
When you rubbed my forehead every Friday night 
Showing me photo books
Sharing half an apple each every night
And last but not least our secret handshake

What a profound loss to our family. My uncle Ronny was an inspiration to me. He regaled me with stories of of his childhood antics and showed me that anyone who puts their mind to something can accomplish it. Particularly, he inspired me to go to college as he was my only adult family member who graduated college. Ultimately, this led me to becoming an attorney. In his second career later in life he worked for the VA in West Palm Beach. Again, I followed in his footsteps as I’m an attorney for the VA. We shared a love of science fiction and would talk for hours over what we found interesting in books we had both read and TV shows as well as movies. His love of classic horror movies infects me still. What fond memories I have of him , Csöpi, and myself watching them early on Saturday morning. Most memorably the Creature from the Black Lagoon and Body Snatchers. He introduced me to many culinary delights such as Indian, Persian, and Thai food all of which are staple in my life to this day. I will miss his subtle sense of humor and his ability to engage with children. He never appeared to me to be humble to lower himself to level of child and play make believe with some toys on the living room carpet. I will always remember my Uncle Ronny as a sweet and gentle man with wise and encouraging words for his youngest nephew. 
I love you Uncle Ronny.

It has been wonderful to have met on your European tour and beyond! 
Your reassuring broad smile and  your contented personality will long stay with us !

My sincere condolences to the family of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Although I did not personally know you, my sister Trisha always spoke very highly and with much love for you. May you rest in external peace and I pray your family finds comfort in knowing you lived a wonderful life.

Ronny will always hold a special place in my heart. He and Anitta always welcomed my family with open arms giving us a place to stay when we visited as kids during our summer vacations. Ronny's corny jokes were always on par with my own dad's and we always had the most memorable times with the Levine family. Deepest condolences to all the family. May his memory be a blessing and a treasure for all his loved ones to cherish forever.

Dear Anitta, Veronika and family,
We are so sorry for the loss of your dear Ron. We have fond memories of the times we were together. Who could forget Veronika and Chuck’s wedding? It was spectacular. We were blessed to be able to share the weekend with you. 
We also remember picking up Steve and Michelle and visiting you at your favorite vacation spot on Sanibel Island. You also hosted dinner at the Bubble Room restaurant on Captiva. We still remember the bubble bread and those desserts ! Your generosity and hospitality were so appreciated. We’ll be thinking of you in the days and weeks ahead.

My Uncle would call me his adopted daughter, he was my adopted dad.
He genuinely cared for me. We would sit together and he would help me with life's lessons along my journey. 
We blew bubbles, flew kites, and road bikes during weekends in the park.
He and my Aunt, together brought so many wonderful memories. 
He introduced me to the love my of snorkeling and all mysteries and beauty of the sea.
We shared our love books and movies. I enjoyed looking at all his cool pipes. I loved the smell too.
He had great laugh and smile.
He was so fun to be with.
The world was a better place with you in it, Uncle Ronny.. I know my life was.

I will always remember watching the old King Kong film with Ron while visiting with Veronika and friends during Spring Break 2000.  He was such an interesting and welcoming person.  I so enjoyed the visit because I felt a comforting NY warmth in sunny FL.  Sending lots of love and thoughts to his family.
