Virginia Ann Hackett

Visitation will be 3-6pm Sunday, May 21 at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432.

Funeral services will be held 10:30am Monday, May 22 at 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL, 33432. Committal will follow at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Arrangements are by Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home.

Virginia was born in Brooklyn, NY to John and Ann (Barbara) Napolitano on June 21, 1948. She went to school at Martin Van Buren High School, class of 1966. She married Robert Hackett on August 11, 1984 in Boca Raton, FL. Her love for Bob and her family brought her the greatest joy. In addition to having a knack for fashion, hair, nails, and shopping, she loved more than anything the beach, sitting down for a chat, and just making sure everyone was taken care of. She never missed a birthday, or a holiday, or an opportunity to send a card just to say she loved and missed you. It is no understatement to say that she was truly one of a kind and a huge hole will be left in all of our hearts. She exuded such love and compassion and generosity and brought a smile to everyone’s face.

Virginia is preceded in death by her mother, Ann and father, John.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Robert Hackett; children Lori Lynn Connors and Thomas of Westboro, MA; John Benestad and Maria of Parkland, FL; her sister, Rita O’Leary and brother in law Jerome O’Leary of Deerfield Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren: Jonathan, Christopher, Liam, Ainsley, Nicholas, and Aidan as well as her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews. Her radiant love will be missed more than words can express. If you knew her, she loved you and you knew just how special she was.
