Vittorio was born in Sicily, later married, and moved to Tivioli Rome—where he resided with his wife and their daughters—before relocating to the United States in 1977. After being blessed with six beautiful daughters and two adorable granddaughters, he was ecstatic upon the birth of his first grandson, John—finally, a boy—later followed by many more wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a driver in his early career, before becoming a mechanic, and eventually owned and operated his own shop. He loved his birds, and all animals. He was independent, yet dependable. He was humble, never saying ‘I told you so.’ He loved freely—even at times when people didn’t deserve it. He struggled in life, but always did anything and everything in his power to help others. His struggle is over now; he’s with God and the Blessed Mother—both of whom he loved and prayed to always, and whose images are found in every room of his house and in his wallet. He is loved more than his family and friends can ever express, and he is missed.
