Connie Milam Six of Carolina Shores, NC, age 71 passed away peacefully Friday, November 18, 2011 with her loving family by her side. Ms Six was a retired educator. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Milam and Perry Franklin Milam.
Connie is survived by her husband of almost 50 years Norman Six; one daughter: Leslie Bortle and husband Brian and their son James of Calabash, NC; one sister: Peggy Allen and husband Jim of Culpeper, VA; two nieces Cathy Aylor and husband Kemp and their children Madeline and Hunter Aylor; Marianne Bretschneider and husband Ryan with their children Landon and Carter Bretschneider. Also surviving is her dog, Max.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday November 22 at 11am at the Calabash Presbyterian Church in Calabash, NC officiated by Reverend Jack Patrick.
Prior to the service the family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00am.
Following the service, refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall.
