Heather Renee Shaw

She was born on July 29, 1989 to Jimmy Hunter and Debbie Frasl in Sampson County, North Carolina.

Heather proudly served in the United States Navy in which she retired RS3/E4. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. Her contagious smile always showed how happy she was. Penguins and the color green was her favorite.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Carl Shepard and Jimmy Lee Hunter; paternal grandmother, Devon Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Lee Shaw; daughters, Shayla Shaw, Gabrielle McKenney (husband, Jace), and Emma Shaw; son, David Shaw II; sister-in-law, Robin Kelly (husband, Jeff) mother, Debbie Frasl (husband, Jerry); father, Jimmy Hunter; sister, Samantha Hunter (Corey); sisters, Karen Schneider (husband, Dan) and Michelle Hallaway (husband, David); special grandmother, Gladys Shepard; special aunt, Teresa Bass (husband, Bubba); granddaughter, Kaylani; grandson, Colt; and special cousin, Brittany Warren; special nephew, Cayson Price; special great nephew, Cameron Parker; nephew, Brennon; nieces, Chelsea and Kayla; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at Living Word Full Gospel Fellowship in Winnabow, NC on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 4:00PM with Pastor Daniel Brown officiating.
