
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cameron; her brother, John Olaf and sister, Susan.
Mary was born in Milwaukee in 1928. In 1949 she graduated from the University of Wisconsin with chemistry major. She was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.
Mary moved to the Washington D.C area in the fifties, where she married Cam and raised two sons. She was a teacher in the Maryland public schools for over 20 years.
Mary was a lifelong Episcopalian who did many charitable works in the name of Our Lord. She worked for many years in the Altar Guild and was a sister in the Daughters of the King.
Mary’s sons, Scott and Andrew would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the St. James DOK members for their unwavering support during her final life stage.
A memorial service will be held at St. James the Fisherman Episcopalian Church in Shallotte on Friday, October, 31, 2014 at 2:00pm.
