Mary Frances Crisco Sellers Russ

Frances was born April 15, 1923 in Brunswick County, North Carolina to Brady Rockwell and Theodosia Ernestine Dosher Sellers. During World War II she married Paul Dee Crisco of Kannapolis, North Carolina. After Paul’s service in the U.S. Army, they returned to Kannapolis and were both employed by Cannon Mills until Paul’s death on April 20, 1978 and Frances’ retirement. After returning to Brunswick County to live, Frances married Willie Love Russ, Jr. on May 6, 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents Brady and Ernestine Sellers; her brothers Walter Robert Sellers and Bennie Roger Sellers; her sisters Mildred Pauline Sellers, Theodosia Ernestine Sellers Nance, and Dorothy Helen Sellers Hewett. Frances is survived by her sister-in-law Julia Brown Sellers, brother-in-law Charles A. Hewett, nephews Melvin L. Sellers, Gene Sellers, and Mark Hewett, and nieces Debra Sellers Davis and Tina Nance Godley.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday April 22, 2015, at 5 p.m. at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Supply Chapel, 603 Ocean Hwy. Supply, N.C. with Reverend Bill McNeill officiating. Burial will follow Thursday at 1 p.m., at Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis, North Carolina.

Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Supply Chapel.
