Nance was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the United States Marine Corp.
He loved stock car racing and had raced on local dirt tracks in the late 70's and early 80's. His love for racing was topped only by his love for his family and animals of all shapes and sizes. Actually, he loved the world and never complained through 40 years of severe rheumatoid arthritis. God took the best when he had suffered too much.
Services will be at Coble-Ward Smith - Supply Chapel at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 9th. The family will receive friends at the home of Rose Bryant and 1 hour prior to the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to any of the local animal rescues in his name.
The staff at Coble Ward Smith Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of Nance Albert Henry.
