Born in Queens, NY on July 4, 1937, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Beulah A. Cones Watkins. She was retired from AT&T and was a US Marine Corps veteran.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband Alvin J. Banker and a sister, Geraldine Echols.
Surviving are three sons, Dr. Michael Banker, Alvin J. Banker, Jr., George Banker; a daughter, Deborah L. Gross; two brothers, William Watkins, John Watkins; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 18, 2016, in St. Philips Episcopal Church. Inurnment will follow in the church memorial garden.
