

Mr. Bolen was born August 26, 1932 in Washington, DC, the son of the late Thomas Edward and Irma Bolen. Tommy worked 32 years with AT&T where he was a member of the Pioneer Club. Mr. Bolen was a veteran of the US Army and had been a Sunday school teacher in the United Methodist Church. Tommy was a very honest, loving, kind, and compassionate man who loved his wife and kids more than anything. Mr. Bolen was preceded in death by a brother Edward Bolen.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Ann Bolen; two sons Charles Bolen and wife Kimberly, of Central Point, OR, and David Bolen of Baltimore, MD; a brother Alvin Bolen of Leonardtown, MD; a sister Lillian Brown and husband Edward of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister-in-law Rosa Bolen of Sunset Beach; two grandchildren Grace Bolen and Lance Bolen; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The service will be at White Funeral Home, 603 Ocean Highway, Supply, NC 28462. Visitation is from 4 – 5:30 pm this Thursday, October 8th followed by the funeral service at 5:30 pm in the chapel with Reverend Matt Ernst officiating.
