Walter William "Pop Pop" / "Wally" Cienki, born on May 28, 1932, and passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 93 in Bolivia, NC; a son of the late Frank and Clara Smolarski Cienki. Mr. Cienki was a retired retail buyer, having worked in the Department Store industry. An Army veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict. In his spare time he enjoyed working puzzles, bowling, and watching the New Jersey Devils Hockey and avid Dallas Cowboys Fan, and he loved the Meadowlands, and most importantly he loved his family, they were his life.
Survivors include his son Keith Cienki(Tammy) of West Milford, NJ; two daughters; Debra Ann Fitting(Bob) of Southport and Linda Cienki, Pompton Lakes, NJ; brothers August Cienki of McDonough; GA; and Joseph Cienki of Hazelton, PA; sister Theresa Hawthorn, Woodberry Heights; NJ; three grandchildren Cailin Fiengo, Kristen Cienki, and Courtney Cienki.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Cienki.
The family of Mr. Cienki will hold a private service at a later date in New Jersey.
