Mr. Bowling was born April 2, 1940 in Leslie County, Kentucky, son of the late Roosevelt and Ella Bowling. He was a veteran of the US Army. Bill loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his three children, Dean Bowling and wife Dawn, Ben Bowling and wife Denise, and Tamara Bowling and husband William; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Bowling; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bowling was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bowling; five siblings, JP Bowling, Charles Bowling, Jean Brown, Larry Bowling, and Amanda MIlls; and his dog, Willow.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026 in the Bowling Family Cemetery in Bolivia.
