Life Reflections

Claudette May Pirre, was born on December 27, 1936 in The Panama Canal Zone. She was the third of twelve children. Born to Gilbert Hill and Lucille Dorothy Hill. Claudette was a devoted wife to her husband Stephen and mother to her ten children.

When Claudette was 46 years old her, her husband and daughters made their travels to the United States and settled in San Diego, California and she began her career as a Nutritionist assistant in the San Diego Elementary School district where she retired in 2002.

On December 27th, 2020, Claudette was promoted to glory. She will be remembered for her faith in God, her bright smile, her good home cooking and being the life of the party. She loved to sing and had some great dance moves on any dance floor to her salsa music. She was fierce, sweet, caring and loyal.

Claudette lived a full life and was dedicated to God, her family, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who encountered her. She is survived by her husband Stephen Pirre Sr and ten children Alicia Clark, Jazmin Hilton, Stephen Pirre Jr., Betty Kent, Maritza Chavis, Lucille Celestine, Mitzi Pirre, Jessica Gardner, Olga Pirre and Carlos Pirre, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and tons of friends. A special thanks for the support of the first responders.
