Harold Dean Overly, 84, went to be with our heavenly father and his beautiful, loving wife of 43 years and high school sweetheart, Sandra Overly. He is survived by his two sisters Jean and Eileen and his three daughters, Wendy Renee, Shantelle Jenee, Shayna Desiree, and eight beautiful grandchildren. Dean was an educated man, to say the least, he worked as a biomedical engineer at Zion Kaiser Hospital for 35 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In his early years, he played high school football and ran track at Mar Vista High, which is where he met his beautiful wife, Sandra. Dean had a passion for aviation, which led him to earn his private pilot license and once he did he flew when he had free time out of Montgomery Field as often as he could. He was a hard-working man who loved to laugh, read, and listen to Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, and classical music. He was an inspiration to his children and still is today. You are and will be so deeply missed.
