Eduwiges "Vicky" Perla Bielma

Vicky Bielma passed away peacefully from natural causes on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the age of 93, in Chula Vista, CA. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Telesfora Perla, as well as her late husband, Ruben Bielma, from Calexico, CA. She is survived by her five children: Norma Del Rio from Bonita, CA, Michael Bielma, El Centro, CA, Alfred Bielma, San Diego, CA, Jackie Aloisio, Houston, Texas, and Joe Bielma from San Diego, CA. She also leaves behind grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Vicky was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and great-aunt.

Vicky's life was a tapestry of love, hard work, and dedication to her family. Vicky's passion for life was evident in her love for cooking for others, a skill she often used to bring her family together. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where aromas of her Sonoran dishes lingered, and laughter was always abundant. No one will ever make refried beans and her delicious flour tortillas like she did. She cherished the simple things in life. She loved exercising daily, sewing, and gardening. Her fig trees were one of her favorite things in her large yard. She had a green thumb; everything she planted grew beautifully.

Vicky’s life was filled with love and an unwavering passion for her children, grandchildren, and those she held dear. As the matriarch of her family, she was a guiding light, always there to support and love. She will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those touched by her remarkable presence.

She will always be loved and never forgotten. May her soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 6:00pm-10:00pm at The Chapel of Roses, located at Glen Abbey Memorial Park 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral mass will occur on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 10:00am at Corpus Christi Parish 450 Corral Canyon Road, Bonita, CA 91902 followed by a committal service at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum 4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102
