Elpidio proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 30 years. Following his military service, he dedicated 20 years of service to San Diego Transit, where he eventually retired. His life was defined by commitment, responsibility, and quiet strength.
After retirement, Elpidio devoted his time to what mattered most—his family. He found great purpose and joy in raising his grandchildren, Junior and Alysha. Being a grandfather was one of his greatest blessings, and he embraced that role with patience, care, and unconditional love.
Elpidio was a kind, gentle, and humble man. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Carmelita, a loving father, and a grandfather who led by example. His calm presence and steady guidance left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn; his son, Edwin; his daughter-in-law, Joan; and his cherished grandchildren, Roland, Jr. and Alysha.
