I am deeply saddened to hear of Emily's passing, she was a beautiful sweet girl, my heart goes out to her mother Clara, and her family, I will remember the fun and silly times I shared with Emily, God Bless You little one xxx

I will always cherish the time we spent together. I especially enjoyed shopping and cooking with you. Every time I make Albondigas Soup, I will think of you and hope it lives up to your standards. I will miss hearing your point of view on things. You were my connection to the younger generations psyche. Your strength, courage, love, and grace will never be forgotten. You are an inspiration for us all.

I have vivid memories of playing with Emily when we were young children- specifically one time we spent hours playing with Maggie in a princess tent that we put together in my backyard. Hours went by and we had so much fun, laughing so hard that we didn’t want it to end! I remember Paul coming to get Emily (and Maggie) because it was getting dark. I know all three of them smile in heaven when I think of that memory.  

 I spent a lot of time with Emily after school during her junior year of high school, supporting her during one of the toughest academic years there is. It was easy to see that Emily was tough, fearless, and never discouraged. She was so fiercely and authentically Emily. Truly, there is no one like her, and while her legacy lives through the lives she touched and the laughs she shared, her absence will be felt deeply. My most heartfelt condolences.
