After graduating from high school in Abucay, she continued her education in Manila and studied optometry. Elinda and her husband Renato Adrid began their lives together in the Philippines before moving to Chicago, Illinois, Imperial Beach, California, Chula Vista,
California, and Taipei, Taiwan. Eventually, they settled in Bonita, California where she lived for the rest of her life.
Erlinda has four sons (Tony, Joe, Eric, and Art) and eight grandchildren (Adrian, Emily, Sarah, Evan, Will, Lindsay, Joe, and Talia). She had a long and successful career working at the Bank of America, Adrid Realty, and Glen Abbey as a Pre-Planning Advisor. She excelled in her career, loved what she did, and made many friends along the way. Outside of work, her faith and Catholic Church community were very important to her, and her relationship with God guided her throughout her life. Erlinda was a world traveler and loved sharing stories of her adventures abroad.
Erlinda was kind, generous, brave, and dedicated to her faith. Some of her happiest moments were spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by them and the many lives she touched. May God bless Erlinda.
