Dear family of Eva,
I sent a memory a while back but it disappeared when I attempted to edit it. So here goes another.
We loved Eva. It is so sad that she is no longer with us. Our sympathies go out to.all her loving family!! She had the greatest smile, the biggest heart. Our family has been sharing memories of times with Eva since she passed and we smile and it makes us happy just to remember how much fun it was to be with her. What a beautiful soul she was!! She is so missed already.!!
This memory is from Martha, Artie, Scott, Brian, Todd and grandchildren, Cannon, Tessa, Leo and Cooper Hunt.

Sweet Eva was a very special sister-in-law and friend whom I grew to love more and more over the years and cherished every visit and phone conversation with her. We had a mutual bond that was a gift from God and I admired her love for my dear brother, her children and grandchildren. She is and will continue to be missed.

Eva was such a bright light! So sweet and always was soft spoken with her kind words. I’ve had the pleasure to know her for over 50 years. Joe and I spent many hours at Bill & Eva’s house playing cards, volleyball, laughing and loving on the kids. I can’t say I ever heard Eva raise her voice. I always looked forward to seeing Eva & Bill, even after Joe & I went our separate ways 35 years ago. She gave the best hugs, too! I will miss my dear friend, sister in law.

Biography

Eva Alicia Hunt was born January 1 1951 in Agua Pietra Sonora, Mexico. She won a prize for being the first baby born that day. She was the second child for Carmen Hernandez and Arnold Cordova. She had 4 siblings her sister Maria who was her first friend and confidante, Joe who was next and was one of her last best friends, they would spend hours on the phone daily talking about anything, Arnold was the baby for a long time and was the brother she new was there for anything, Sam was last born and my mother first baby, she was 11 when he was born and he was such a light to her all of his life.

My Mother has a great love, my father, they married twice to make sure it took, the second marriage was in November 1971, he was her provider, protector and best friend, she often said the last years with my dad were the greatest of their marriage. He left us less than a year ago and she never thought she would follow so soon after.

She is survived by her four children Christina, Michael ,Rachel and Joshua. Her 11 grandchildren, Bryan, Kayla, Jesse, Roman, Nick, Jacob, William, Zoey, Maya, Avery, Alicia and 5 great grandkid Aiden, Jayden, Jaylee, Noah and Vivian. Each was so special to her from the sleepovers, campouts grandparents days, birthday parties. This should also include the spouses each had and have, she always welcomed new family as it meant more love.

The light my mother was will live long in each of us and we were loved beyond words and beyond her passing.
