Evie Juanita Caudillo

Evie Juanita Caudillo died peacefully in San Diego, California on November 1, 2018, at the age of 80.

Evie is survived by her brothers Stan Betts, Coit Betts, and Charlie Betts, and her four children Frank Baughn, Pamela Christensen, Phillip Caudillo, and Leonard Caudillo. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Evie was born on March 27, 1938 in Monroe, North Carolina to parents Stella Davis Betts and Jessie Allen Betts. Evie grew up in Peachland, North Carolina, attended Highschool in Martin, Tennessee, and moved west to California, where she raised her family, remained, and made her home.

Evie was a diligent worker and was a living example of perseverance to her family. Evie will be remembered as a dedicated mother, a caring grandmother, and a supportive friend. Her wit and infectious laughter will be missed.

A service in her honor will be held in the foreseeable future and will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank our friends and extended family for all the love you have shared during this time. We are comforted in knowing she is now resting in peace with her Creator. Services will be on Friday, January 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Abbey Little Chapel of the Roses.
