

Franklin graduated from Radford High School in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1983. He later continued his education by attending San Diego State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and graduated on May 27, 1990.
Franklin was blessed with two children, Isabella and Franklin Jr. He was a devoted Father and immersed himself with his family.
Fortunately, Franklin enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Franklin worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. He was General Manager of Pizza Hut, Corp. and owned both Mi Tierra Restaurant, Hotline Express, a shuttle company and finally, worked as a Quality Assurance Supervisor for Naval Coatings, Inc.
Franklin enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various activities including skiing, camping, bike riding and watching his San Diego Chargers. Franklin loved the outdoors and was always happy and willing to share his interests with others. He loved and embraced the latest technological advancements in the electronics and entertainment industry.
Franklin left us on January 8, 2012 at the age of 46. He passed away in San Diego, California of Coronary Heart Disease. He is survived by his Mother, Consuelo Dongon, daughter, Isabella Dongon, son, Franklin Dongon Jr., his sister, Susana Sibilia, and brother, Elmer Dongon. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Funeral Service was held at Little Chapel of the Roses in Glen Abbey Memorial Park on January 21, 2012. Franklin was later laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
