With heavy tears and a broken heart, I want to share that my Mother passed away yesterday. It was a long 15-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease for her, but through it all, she never lost her loving, gentle spirit. She was the quintessential Lady. Always so gracious and so beautiful.

Mom, I will miss your smile, your loving eyes, and the touch of your hand. But I will carry your wonderful spirit in my heart for the rest of my life. I feel so very fortunate to have had her in my life for all of my 60 years. I love you Mom. Rest In Peace.  -Michael

My beautiful mother, Helen Rose Republicano, passed away on Saturday, August 24th.

We are sad and heart-broken and will miss her greatly.  We are also thankful that her 15-year battle with Alzheimer’s has ended.  

We gain solace in knowing that she is in heaven with her mom and dad (Maria Rose and Joseph) and her three brothers (Salvatore, Mario and Anthony) -- and that she no longer suffers.  
She was “mom” to all my friends throughout my youth, from elementary school through Santa Clara University.  She was part of their lives, as they were hers, and she loved our pranks as we did hers. 

In addition to my father, Victor, Sr., and my brother, Michael, mom leaves behind her sister, Gloria, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Mom also leaves behind my family—Linda and me and our 8 sons (her grandsons:  Joseph, Michael II, Victor III, Jonathan, Mathew, Vincent, David and James), and a great granddaughter, (Riley Rose, daughter of Michael II and his wife Kelly— who are expecting another girl in March 2020)!  We now have another Angel watching over ALL of us.

Mom and Dad celebrated their 67th Wedding Anniversary on May 19th. They were in love and best friends and adored each other for almost seven decades -- truly a remarkable love story!
Dad is devastated:  This strong, courageous, brave man -- who served in the U.S. Army, including two-years in the Korean War (where he saw friends and comrades die); and who has battled cancer for the last 15 years — is broken.  Please pray that God gives him strength and courage to continue living life.  

The support and love of my amazing family -- Linda and our 8 sons -- in this trying time has been comforting.  They are truly a gift from God!  
Life is so precious and tentative.  Be sure to hug your loved ones— grandparents, parents, siblings, children, and spouse — and let them know how much you love them, while they are still here... because at the blink of an eye— they will be gone!
