Herlinda Rameriz, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on December 20, 1929, Herlinda lived a vibrant and full life marked by faith and family.
She is survived by her three daughters—Gloria, Berti, and Landa—along with three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who all brought her endless joy. Herlinda was preceded in death by her loving husband, who passed away in 2019. Their bond was deep and enduring, and in the final chapter of her life, Herlinda found comfort and delight in her great-granddaughter, born just days before her husband’s passing. The two shared a uniquely special connection that lit up Herlinda’s days.
A woman of grace and spirit, Herlinda’s love for the Catholic Church and her unwavering faith were central to her life. She found solace and strength in her beliefs.
Herlinda had a passion for mystery novels—especially those with recipes tucked between the pages. She would often share stories from her latest read, imagining how she might recreate the dishes herself.
Earlier in life, Linda was known for her love of dancing and lively gatherings. She embraced joy wherever she found it, whether on the dance floor or in the company of friends. Her years spent living overseas enriched her life with culture and language.
Herlinda Rameriz will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her deep love for her family, and the legacy of warmth, wisdom, and wonder she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, we invite you to honor Herlinda’s memory by supporting a cause close to her heart: her great-granddaughter Catherine’s school.
In her final years, Herlinda found immense joy in spending time with Catherine and took great pride in her education. She was especially delighted to know that Catherine is thriving in a dual-language program, learning Spanish—a connection that brought Herlinda deep happiness. Reviewing Catherine’s schoolwork was one of her favorite pastimes.
To continue supporting the educators who inspired Catherine and brought Herlinda so much joy, donations may be made to the school’s PTA. Contributions will go directly toward staff appreciation efforts—helping recognize and celebrate the teachers and staff who make a lasting impact in students’ lives.
