Max lit up the room with his smile and loved his family with all he had. As a young boy he spent a few years in Finksburg, Maryland with his dad and his Aunt Mae and Uncle Nick. He was also a long time resident of San Diego County and Los Angeles County. He attended Paramount High School in Paramount, California and Sweetwater High School in National City, California. He loved football, music and a good drink. He treasured the moments he spent with his one year old grandson London Jaymes. He loved having a good time with his family and was married to his high school sweetheart, Rosemary Barron-McCartney for 32 years. Together they were blessed with three sons, Jacob Nicholas, Patrick Thomas and Joseph Maxx. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Vanessa, his sisters, Keithlynn Jones (Rick), Helena Medrano (Rene), Debbie Molina and Cynthia Milner. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, John Partee, Robin Partee and sister, Deena McCartney and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved very much. He is also survived by Rosemarie Sherwood, mother-in-law and Gilbert Barron, Sr., father-in-law, his brother-in-laws Michael Barron (Martha) and Gilbert Barron and his sister-in-law Michelle Barron, the family pets, Apollo, Roonie and Frankie. A viewing for Jacob will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Little Chapel of the Roses, Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. The funeral will be held at the Little Chapel of the Roses on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10:00 am with the burial immediately after.
