

A Life Well Lived
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jaime Cachaper Mangosing, Sr., who departed this life on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Chula Vista, California. He was 98 years old and is now reunited with his loving wife, Hipolita Piocos Mangosing.
Jaime was born on December 13, 1927, in Barangay Apostol, San Felipe, Zambales. He later migrated to the United States, where he proudly served in the United States Navy until his retirement. He lived a life marked by love, dedication, and faithful service—to his country, his family, and all those around him.
Family was the cornerstone of Jaime’s life. He was a devoted husband, a beloved father, a doting grandfather, and a kind relative and friend. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and quiet strength.
Jaime is survived by his five (5) children and their families, who will continue to honor his memory by living with the same kindness and generosity he exemplified:

A memorial service celebrating Jaime’s life will be held on February 12 and 13, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on February 14 at 10:00 AM at Mater Dei Catholic Church, followed by interment at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
Jaime will be deeply missed by all who have the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will forever live on in our hearts, and his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
Rest in eternal peace, Jaime. You will always be remembered with love and gratitude.
