I loved Justin very much, he was the closest thing I had to a brother.  He always knew how to cheer me up, and he always stood up for me, and I did the same for him. Rest In Peace my brother. 

I met Justin in 5th grade, when I transferred to Nestor Elementary School.  We became fast friends and as kids do, pictured ourselves as boyfriend and girlfriend by the time we graduated 6th grade. We even wore king and queen watches. Silly, I know, but we were having fun.
After 6th grade, we lost contact with each other until this year. Of course, time and experience had changed us, but our friendship was still there. Justin had gone through some serious struggles in life, as had I, but his path led him in a very different direction than mine. I realized Justin  wanted to find a way to prove to himself and his family that he could, and had, changed. He wanted badly to be back in the lives of his children and have better relationships with them, his parents, brothers and grandmother. He seemed on the right path to make it happen.  He was working hard and trying to rebuild those relationships, getting out and doing things with his family. 
Justin played football throughout his school years and was well loved by his coaches and teammates. He was smart, funny and a good sport.  He left behind a loving family and many friends. We wish you Good speed Justin, you will be missed, but we look forward to the day that we will be reunited with you in a place that holds no sorrow or pain. We love you.

Justin and I went to the haunted hotel and he was laughing so hard cause I was screaming and gripping his arm so tight then came the chainsaw at the end he was laughing so much at me running . The first time I got on the trolley cause were I'm from we don't have them I was standing next to door it took off I fell backwards and he was like are u ok you have to hold on we bolth laughed . Justin took me to cultural center at balboa park and explained the paintings to me as well as the sweat lodges at Chicano park . I looked forward to work every day we sat together and we would get in trouble for being to loud for laughing at each other he would pass his just for today book around and make sure we all read it Justin was such a kind caring man we went to a meeting and he was riding one those yellow and green bikes with baskets on the front well I sat in the basket and he rode us he went off huge bump it hurt so bad but all we could do was laugh ppl were clapping at us and smiling as we drove bye I will never forget that night I will never forget the advice he had given me and I will forever hold the memories we have in my heart Justin I miss you so much until we meet again sleep with the angels !!! 

Justine u left a special print in my heart u dont see me surround myself around a lot of men unless they are gentlemans and respectful.I could honestly say u were all that and a bag of ships...ur goofey laugh would always make me crack up..We were able to enjoy u on Veterans day.In my eyes ur like a soldier and warrior my family loves u and u will be remembered. Primo what can I say other than I love you! I remember going to your parents house in IB to celebrate a birthday.  Ashley and Nicole were little and you were surprised I had my babies.  A while later you became a daddy...the joy and unconditional love you had for your baby girl was unlike any other you had ever experience.  We connected on another level and it is one I'll always cherish.  

I loved seeing you grow up.  You fought hard Justin, you were a good, loving and caring soul.  Our memories will never be erased.  We love you so much.

To my forever best friend Justin! Growing up Justin and I were inseperable. We were like two peas in a pod. We would wrestle each other, hang out, and always had a good time together. Justin I am going to miss you so very much. You were always selfless, funny, and made sure other peoples needs were met before your own.  Rest in peace Justin

Justin Jones. How can anyone forget this young man. I coached Justin when he was 5 yo. for the SSDIB Flag team and I believe up until mighty mites. He was always a joy to have at practice. Some of the memories that I have of him is when the whistle blew for a water breaks he would run over to Linda and she would feed him all kinds of snacks on water break. I was like "Nooooo"...he's going to puke! :-) Lol. But when that whistle blew to go back to practice, he was always the first one back out there. He really loved practice and he made it fun!  A very good looking kid that spoke Spanish and English, Debbie and I would say...Wow that kid is special.  And that he was. He was special in so many good ways. He was funny, smart, and just a joy to be around. I am very happy and proud to have had the opportunity to know and coach Justin and to say that I was one of his coaches. God bless you Justin. There is so much I can say about this beautiful soul that I had the privilege to call MY son.  He was the most beautiful baby boy. Strong and happy. It didn't surprise me that he went from crawling to walking by 9 months. I will always remember these words he said to me not long ago. " Mom you are the love of my life!. Fist women I ever set eyes on" . My son never ceased the moment to tell me how much he loved me and how proud he was of me. He was bright and intelligent. I will forever miss your presence here with me. God only knows why your time came so soon.  Justin was my best friend and biggest supporter. I will miss his contagious smile and unique laugh. He overflowed with love for family and friends. I was and continue to be very proud of the courageous man he was. I love you son. Mi amor eterno, inolvidable!! Justin te amo 

I don’t really remember this day because I was so young, about a month I believe I was. But I always enjoyed looking back at the picture. Justin was always such a kind soul and I’ll miss him forever.

It is with a heavy heart that we join in mourning the loss of  Justin. While we know he has risen to life eternal- he formed an important part of the fabric of our family here on earth.  We appreciate the love, and joy he brought to all. In the past few months the family danced, laughed, and feasted with him! We know he felt the warmth, and love of all around him. Helo,My name is Michael Moore also known as coach Moore . I had the pleasure to meet Justin Jones and his family through Pop Warner football .
    I soon became good friends with his father Derek Jones and we decided to coach football ..Well we started with the small kids and that ended up being our kids through the years Justin is always played defense for me and played with big heart Justin was soft-spoken but on the football field when he showed up ,he would show out!There was nothing I couldn't ask him to do on the football field for me, and I truly respected that. A year or two later me and Derek Coach  baseball team we took that team to the championship Justin and my son we're on that team I'm so proud of that.. Justin and my son have been best friends since grade school. For many years every weekend Justin was part of my family he was always a very respectful kid and if you needed something he was there for you all you had to do was ask.. I remember a special story about Justin it was in Maui Hawaii we were there to play Guam in a  Pee Wee football game it wasn't in the game it was at the hotel we stayed at it's my job to keep an eye on them and I'm letting them run around have a good time so I go out and find them and there around the koi pond they suddenly go quiet and I say what are you guys doing watching the the koi fish coach.! Why did it sound like you guys were so excited well coach there are little bitty lizards everywhere and we throw them in and the koi eat them real fast I had to tell him to knock that off as I walk away laughing my butt off. They're all out there just having a good time. I will miss all those good times but more than anything I will always remember them!  I love you Justin Jones you always have a special place in my heart. I love you kid

I met Justin my freshman year in high school. He was always nice to me from the very beginning and even though he left our school rather quickly, we remained friends over the years. He was a caring and humble soul. We remained so close and always had so much fun when we would hang out. He always made me feel like the most special friend and was always there when I needed him. He was and will always be one of my very best friends. I love you Justin and I will miss you so much. 

My name is Art Casillas and I helped run the SSDIB Chiefs Football and Cheer.

Justin was well liked by all who made contact with him on the field. He was courteous, thoughtful, kind and respectful to board members, coaches, cheer and his fellow football players.

He played at 100%  during practice times and game days. He played defensive end and linebacker and played with complete disregard and laser quick attentiveness.

It was a pleasure watching him play and know he will be missed.
