

Luisa D. Lizardo was born on June 25th, 1924. She first greeted the world in San Jose, Antique, Philippines. Her parents' names were Candido Delgado Del Rosario and Salome Solina. She grew up in San Jose, Philippines. Growing up for Luisa was an involving experience. It allowed her to learn and grow and create all kinds of memories.
A lot of what shaped Luisa’s life was how she was raised. She was raised with five siblings. She had three brothers named Lorenzo, Teryong and Dadong and two sisters named Beatrice and Uding. Luisa was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced the typical rivalries of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
On August 6, 1947 Luisa exchanged wedding vows with Lucas Lizardo in the Philippines.
While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately this same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Luisa worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Luisa was blessed with eight children, Rene Lizardo, Querino Lizardo, Candido Lizardo, Wilfredo Lizardo, Rodolfo Lizardo, Rizalina Bulac, Rowena Rutherford and Gina Elangga. She worked hard toward raising her children in a positive and nurturing environment. Later in life, Luisa was blessed once again with the gift of thirty- one grandchildren and twenty great- grandchildren.
A person's hobbies often mirror who they have become. Luisa enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in a number of different activities. Her favorites included singing and dancing.
Luisa Lizardo left us on April 2nd, 2011. She passed away at Kindred Hospital of natural causes. She is survived by her children Rizalina, Rowena, Gina, Rodolfo, Candido and Wilfredo; siblings Beatrice and Uding; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many other loved ones and friends. Services were held at The Little Chapel of the Roses on April 8th, 2011. Luisa was laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, Luisa was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being caring and giving, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Luisa leaves behind her a legacy of lifelong friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life Luisa D. Lizardo touched will always remember her with a smile.
