

Marcelo Plastina Patron was born on August 30, 1933. He was 87 when he passed away on July 5, surrounded by his beloved wife Rufina and his 4 children Edwin, Sonny Marcelo Jr., Nancy and Joyce. His eldest daughter Marisssa passed away in 2003.
Marcelo was a family man a Navy Chief and a civil servant. He was married to Rufina for 64 years.
He loved all of his family his wife, his children his grandchildren; Derek, Bianca, Cameron, Angelica, Sierra, Christian, Bella, Dante, Chloe, Michael and Christian. He also has one great grandchild Jayden.
He loved the many groups he was a part of one is the Bay Terraces fil-am senior association which he helped advocate for a community center to be built at Tooma Park where they all met. He went there as often as he could to dance, eat and hang out with his friends.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and usher at St. John of the Cross church and an active member in the fil-am association also at St. John.
He was a Navy Chief and retired from the Navy in 1975.
He loved his wife, his family, dancing and especially a party where everyone came together.
He will be missed and is looking down from heaven with a smile and saying what he always says when he is done speaking, Thank you very much.
