Michael David Graham suffered from cardiac arrest early Tuesday morning on September 10th and made a valiant effort to recover. He was at the age of 41 when he passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 and was surrounded by his beloved wife, Alyssa and his loving family.
Mike was born on October 21, 1982, to Walter Charles Graham and Alma Sarmiento of National City. He attended kindergarten through high school in National City, graduating from Sweetwater high school as ASB president, class of 2000. Mike graduated from SDSU in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems. He continued his education and attended Endicott College, a private college in Massachusetts where he earned a Master of Business Administration in 2007.
Michael David Graham is survived by his wife, Alyssa Marie Graham to whom he was married to for 11 years, his son William (Liam) 8, and his daughter Emilia (Emi) 5; as well as his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Mike was a loving father and family person who enjoyed helping assist in coaching his son’s baseball team and building Lego sets with his kids. He always brought a smile everywhere he went. Mike confirmed what we already know…not all heroes wear capes. He was an organ donor and in this final heroic act was able to save lives. Mike loved whole-heartedly and was loved by many. He will be sorely missed because he was the best of us.
A celebration of life will take place at Sweetwater High School (new gym) on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 5 PM.
