Ralph W. Tresser III

Born January 16, 1946 to Ralph W. Tresser II & Josephine Edwards in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ralph grew up in Spring Valley, CA. Growing up with cousins Greg, Steve, Tim & Doug there was never a dull moment. When Ralph was 15 years old, his sister Patricia Ann Tresser was born. Shortly after the family moved to Lemon Grove, CA. Ralph graduated from Mt. Miguel High School in 1963.

After graduation Ralph went to work in the Imperial Valley then joined the US Navy. After serving 3 1/2 years, including 2 deployments to Vietnam and serving on the USS Benewah, Ralph was honorably discharged to help his father run the family business.

On October 1st, 1966 Ralph married his high school sweetheart, Janet Carrie Tilton at Skyline Wesleyan Church in Lemon Grove, CA. Soon after Ralph & Janet had 2 children, Jannette Lynn Tresser on December 3, 1969 and James Gregory Tresser on January 14, 1972.

Ralph went on to own many businesses, hauling or delivering just about anything you can think of. Most notable was RJT Enterprises. Ralph loved racing, motorcycles, and a lot of b.s..

On April 25, 2011 we lost a true husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Ralph passed away suddenly at his home in Lakeside ,CA. Along with Janet, Jimmy, Jannette, and Patty, Ralph is survived by 6 grandchildren, Alyssa, Justin, Sarah, Shelby, Caspian, and Nora. Services will be held May 2, 2011 at 1pm at Glen Abbey Mortuary, Chapel of the Roses. On the same day at Moose Lodge of Lemon Grove, 9062 Memory Lane, Spring Valley, CA 91977, we will be holding a memorial service from 3-6pm. Dress is casual, Ralph loved his Hawaiian shirts.
