Born on February 3, 1933, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Juan and Josefina Ojeda, Ramon grew up in New York, where he developed his love for baseball and his passion for life.
Ramon’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Antonia, and their six children: Jorge, Lorena, Alvaro, Cynthia, Desiree, and Jasmine. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, who he loved dearly and were a constant source of joy in his life.
