Rodrigo "Teto" Ernesto Hidalgo

Rodrigo Hidalgo known as Teto was born on July 22, 1975 in San Diego. He was the son of Rodrigo Hidalgo and Grace Marie Hidalgo. Teto grew up in San Ysidro and had four siblings Sofia, Claudia, Anthony and Carlos.

Teto and Alicia got married in 1996, they were married for 24 years. In those 24 years he got to enjoy his three children Isela Adriana, Melissa Isabel and Rodrigo also known as tetito. And was blessed with his two granddaughters Ilse Camila and Iliana Gisselle. Although he claimed to not have loved him, we know he did his son in law Armando Carrillo.

Truck driving was his dream job and was able to experience 13 years of traveling, getting to explore different states, and meeting people from all around. As hard as it was for him to leave his over the rode job, he decided to quit and be a local driver for his granddaughter and be more with the family.

On his free time he enjoyed going to the ranch and being around his horses. Soldado was with him for 16 years. Teto and Soldado would like to take long rides to the beach. Soldado was his therapy his best friend. He also enjoyed nature and seeing all the beautiful scenery.

Teto was a very hard headed, stubborn, foul mouth man. Even though he tried to hide his loving and caring side we would always see through it. His way to show it was very different but we all knew what his rude jokes and "fuck you" meant. Teto will leave behind a lifetime of memories and will always be remembered.
