Everyone’s life is the sum total of all of the people they have met, the things they have done, the places they have gone. Rogelio M. Garcia was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Rogelio will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Rogelio was born on September 11, 1932 in Silang, Cavite, Philippines to Dominador Garcia and Angele Montoya. Rogelio has three brothers, Pedro, Augusto and Perfecto and three sisters Librada, Lydia and Paula.
Rogelio exchanged wedding vows with Iluminada Casipit. Empathic and loyal…Rogelio was committed to making his new family happy.
While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately the same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Rogelio was blessed with eight children Solita, Luz, Corazon, Danilo, Mario, Wilfredo, Reynaldo and Rogelio Jr. Rogelio did his best to fulfill his children’s needs, raising them in a positive and nurturing environment.
Fortunately Rogelio enjoyed his leisure time cooking. One of his accomplishments in life was the ability to put his children through college by raising chickens and pigs. He never left his children “go hungry” even if he went somewhere, by 10:00 in the morning was home cooking lunch and dinner.
Rogelio passed away on March 8, 2016 due to old age in Temecula, California. He is survived by Iluminada Garcia (wife) his children and grandkids, great-grandchildren. He leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.
